Roger is an out-of-work session musician, recently estranged from his wife and kids. He struggles to support two households with minimal income and to regulate a serious heart condition without health insurance. In an effort to help him save money, his doctor agrees to switch his heart medication to something less expensive. It's a real shame what happened to Casper. On the surface, things were going well. He had just revamped the entire menu at his semi-successful chain of pizza shops throughout Alabama and southern Tennessee. Times are tough for Todd Keane. His wife left him and he's deeply in debt thanks to the recent economic meltdown. What's more, his only son was just repossessed by the state. It seems that Todd has been declared an unfit parent given his current financial troubles. Scott will be held in state custody until Todd can begin to pay down his debts.Bottom line, he needs cash fast.
Todd finds what he believes to be his salvation. There exists a government program to help debtors just like him. In addition to enabling him to purchase a badly needed car, the program will also allow him to pay off a large portion of his debt. In exchange, all Todd must do is carry out a task on behalf of the Feds. It appears to be the perfect solution until Todd learns of his work assignment: Kill an aging mobster with Alzheimer's disease. Of course, this gives him pause...
